Dr. Sun graduated from University of Southern California. He has over 30 years dental experience and over 20 years Implant Dentistry experience. He has placed over ten thousands dental implants during the past years earning him the unique title as a Diplomate Implantologist in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Sun has a good sense of humor and swift hand skills that allow him to perform dental procedures quickly and painlessly. He has been earning his patients through his positive attitude, kindness, and honesty. He is a member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists. His hobbies include swimming, basketball, and golf. Besides English, Dr. Sun is fluent in Mandarin, his native language.
Bo Young Kang, D.D.S.
General Dentist
Dr. Bo Kang is from South Korea but grew up in New York most of her life. She did her undergraduate studies at Binghamton University in New York where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology.
She then attended Stony Brook University in New York and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2001. She continued on to complete her postgraduate studies at Stony Brook University and earned an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) degree. During her residency, she participated in the Oral Cancer Program where she expanded her knowledge and got hands on experience at the local hospital.
Dr. Kang has been practicing for over 15 years as a general and cosmetic dentist and is fluent in both English and Korean.
She treats patients of all ages and enjoys all aspects of dentistry. Her goal is to treat all patients as she would her own family members and making everyone feel special and comfortable. She is a provider of both Invisalign (Clear Braces) and Six Month Smiles (Short Term Orthodontics).
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking for her friends and she tries to stay fit by exercising.
Irene Tam D.D.S., M.S.
Periodontist
Dr. Tam graduated magna cum laude with a major in Microbiology and a minor in Dance from UC San Diego. She continued her education at UCLA School of Dentistry, where she received her dental degree graduating summa cum laude. With a strong interest in refining her skills and knowledge in Periodontics, she decided to continue her training at UCLA School of Dentistry for an additional three years, completing a residency in Post Graduate Periodontics and Dental Implant Surgery.
Dr. Tam is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. A Diplomate is a periodontist who has made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty and who is certified by the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Tam has served as clinical faculty for the UCLA School of Dentistry and the Dental Hygiene Program at Pasadena City College. Dr. Tam also spends time lecturing for various dental study groups for continuing education for dentists.
Besides English, Dr. Tam speaks Cantonese. In her spare time, Dr. Tam enjoys dancing, baking, and crafts.
